1-LAKE YAZEVOYE
See the stunning Mt Belukha reflecting onto Yazevoye's water from the height of 4,506 metres. Its reflection on the mirror-like water surface reminds us of Roerich's paintings. The artist has dedicated many canvasses to the majestic Belukha. The pristine environment, bright colours of the mountain forest, the clean air, warm water, rich with fragrant willow-tea; the sounds of nature create a unique atmosphere of happiness and peacefulness.



2-CASCADE WATERFALL
A beautiful waterfall that is located on the way to Lake Yazevoe. It is 200 metres high with ten unique cascades.



3-MT BELUKHA
This is the most majestic and highest mountain of the Altai and Siberia. The name “Belukha” means white, which relates to the white colour of the snow peaks and the slopes. In 1998, UNESCO entered Mt Belukha into the list of Universal Heritage of Mankind. Two brothers, Michael and Boris Tronov, were the first people that climbed the top of the mountain in 1914.



4-RAKHMANOVSKIYE HOT SPRINGS

5-BURKHAT PASS AND THE OLD AUSTRLIAN ROAD
Captured Austrian soldiers built the Austrian Road during World War 1. The construction was undertaken from 1915 to 1917. Using just shovels, saws and pickaxes, they built a road winding through the picturesque wilderness of Eastern Kazakhstan. The road is about 60 km long and contains several bridges and passes; the highest pass is Burkhat at 2137 m high.



6-TSAR VALLEY
This is located on the flat plateau and has over 100 burial tombs of Scythian tsars, royal family members and priests, which date back to the 5th century BC. The most famous burial place is of Saka tsar and his mother. The burial contains 13 horses in suits of armour decorated with gold plates.










7-VERA’S BEE FARM
This apiary is set in a beautiful location. You can buy honey fresh from the collection of beehives, walk through the local trails, visit the chapel and enjoy fragrant tea with honey.
