
ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Where?
Yasnaya Polyana is located 392 km from Ust-Kamenogorsk city in Kazakhstan. The guesthouse is set on a picturesque glade, surrounded by a birch forest on one side and the Altai Mountains on the other. It is at the foot of the Belukha Mountain in Katon-Karagay National Park.
What to expect?
Currently, we have three traditional Altai hexagon huts, where we can accommodate up to three guests in each. There is also a wooden house that has an additional room for three people, a common area, kitchen and veranda with a stunning view over the open valley. We also encourage all guests to experience the Russian sauna located by the river.
What kind of food?
All seasonal food is locally sourced from the nearby eco-village who provide fresh milk and homemade sour cream and cheese from the dairy, as well as eggs and meat. Seasonal forest berries and mushrooms, Altai honey and herbal tea are available as well. We would be happy to accommodate your special dietary requests.
Three meals are included in the accommodation cost.
Breakfast is from 9:00-10:00, lunch is from 13:00-14:00, and dinner is from 19:00-20:00.
Things to do?
Go on scenic road trips through the Altai Mountains, horseback riding, hiking, art-therapy under the guidance of resident artist Andrey and art photography session, amongst others.
Costs?
The cost is 15,000 Kazakhstan Tenge per person per day.
