Hello, my name is Olga. I invite you to visit my guest house Yasnaya Polyana, which means “Bright Glade”. This is a great place for anyone who wants to explore East Kazakhstan and the Altai Mountains, or to just relax and immerse themselves in nature’s true peace and quiet.
Several years ago, I went to Katon-Karagay in Altai, visited local landmarks and was fascinated by its pristine environment and the Altai culture. I was captivated, and it became my dream to build an eco-friendly guesthouse in the picturesque Katon-Karagay National Park. The park is located at the foot of the majestic Belukha Mountain, whose energy you can feel.
To cut a long story short, my dream came true in 2016, when we started construction of the first guest huts at Yasnaya Polyana. Currently, we have three traditional Altai hexagon huts, with each accommodating up to three guests. There is also a wooden house that has additional room for three more people, a common area, kitchen and veranda with a stunning view of the open valley. We also encourage all of our guests to experience the Russian sauna located by the river. All seasonal food is locally sourced from the nearby eco-village. We cook three meals a day and would be happy to accommodate your special dietary requests.
I understand that the best way to experience the Altai is by going on a road trip, therefore we have several organised trips to the Altai landmarks. Please contact us for trip details.
I am looking forward to seeing you at our beautiful Yasnaya Polyana.
